Town Clerk Christine St. Pierre reports the following preliminary results for the state primary in Manchester-by-the-Sea on Sept. 4.

In the Republican primary, Gov. Charlie Baker earned the most votes, 309 out of 377.

In the Democratic primary, Sen. Elizabeth Warren earned 519 votes out of 567 versus 144 out of 377 for republican candidate, state Rep. Geoff Dieh, who is also vying for the seat.
