Seed Savers: Swap &  Share at the Manchester Public Library

There is now a small seed swap box on the display opposite the front desk for all gardeners. Feel free to include neat, labelled seeds in envelopes for others to enjoy and to take some of the ones offered. Don’t worry of you see something you’d like to grow and don’t have any to contribute now. Your garden in the future may yield some you can bring in, so start saving. Do note, as gardeners like to know, if a product is organic or non gmo. Many seeds are not able to be reproduce if this is not the case, so an organic pepper will yield viable seeds, but another that may be a non-reproducing hybrid, will not. There are seed saving books in the display, too so feel free to check one out for more information. This is a great time , while tidying your garden to share seeds that are out there or others you perhaps purchased but may not use next year.
