Library Update: May 6

4 min read

It’s OPEN! After years of planning, and months of construction and moving collections, our beautiful new Teen Loft is open.

Whenever our MERSD students are not in school, this space is reserved for teens in grades 6-12 only. Finally, the entire YA collection can be found upstairs, all in one place. There are comfortable lounge chairs and ottomans, a couple of Yogibos, a work table and chairs, a stunning café-style counter with stools, and plenty of outlets and charging stations. We’re working on gathering board games and craft supplies for the rolling craft cart.

Stop in soon and take a look. And, if you’re a teen, stay awhile and enjoy!

This movie stars Felicity Jones, Armie Hammer, and Justine Theroux.  This movie is rated PG-13 and anyone under 13 must have a parent or guardian fill out a permission slip available at the Library’s circulation desk.
